My small protest around a couple of topical issues in NZ at present.
1. Govt wants to tax to death a diesel ute owner and give an electric car owner a shed load of money back for being fcukin green

If we have an election Kiwi, it will limit the spending and damage the toothy bitch will do ?

Like most Labor politicians they have no regard for the taxpayer money they rape us of.

If they can't steal enough from us to give the 200,000 that are too tired to work they are printing even more.
I'd best stick to the subject of our illustrious  motorcycle.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Did you know...

The term "Mad as a Hatter", came from Mercury poisoning whilst using it making hats.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

I did know that actually...
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Did you know that an Airbus A380 at take off speed of 315kmh requires 1200tons of air per second into each of its Rolls Royce jet turbine engines.

Now THAT is an interesting, and pointless, fact !

Not exactly pointless, because if they didn't, the jet would not get off the ground  and we'd have fire and smoke and stuff everywhere, very messy.

But I get what you mean.... :hat:

Hooli

Did you know at cruising speed Supermarine Spitfires did around 5mpg?

Eric GSX1400K3

A top fuel dragster engine apparently produces around 8000-10000 brake horsepower, this is calculated as there is no dynamometer large enough to measure actual output.

Also, at the end of a quarter mile run, the engine is running like a diesel as the spark plugs will have melted away because of the ethanol/methanol and nitrous fuelling cocktail that they feed these things.

Fuel mileage is an impressive 80L for a single pass....

Hooli, not cruising but flat out, my old H1 Kawa, Bigger pistons, ported and expansion chambers did exact same mpg. Slightly better actually. Was a pure fossil eater but so quick, until a corner.

@Eric GSX1400K3  I missed Winternats :(  I do LOVE top fuellers !
