I agree Vlad - Suzuki do need a really nice naked big four adding to their ever depleting range. I think that it would be a good seller too, given todays interest in classics. A `back to basics` revived Bandit `12, or a sensibly updated `14 would hit the spot. After all, lets not forget that the early Bandits sold by the bucket load - and for good reason. Probably one of the best value bikes ever made.....!

Big Phil

Had a 1200 bandit with a half fairing and loved it. Always regretted letting it go and for good reason. Never missed a beat, totally reliable and handled superbly🤗

Phil, ditto - I had an `03 naked, an absolute minter too. Sold it for a song just before I bought my `14 and it was still a standard mint bike, 12,000mls from new, except the ART can I fitted years ago which sounded awesome! Wish i`d kept it too. Performance was exactly the same as the `14, probably a touch better in fact, but being lighter and a shorter wheelbase it was wild - I miss that! I think it def handled better than the `14 too. The only downside was the crap seat which became unbearable after 70 miles. Unlike others I`ve never had problems with the seat on my `14 (standard).

That's the reason I still have my "not quite standard" Mk1 1200 :imrgreen:
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Not really much of a KTM fan actually. Werent Laverda more a dull orange.

CAUTION - My forum posts may be worth what you paid for them!

I've never understood the love for Laverdas, they look & sound so bland.

SFC1000

Each to their own.
The 180 degree crank motors had an offbeat note which I think sounded great.
The Jota silencers fitted to these were just plain loud.
The later 120 degree crank motors sounded like any Jap multi.
The built in silencer (not) on the factory 3 into 1's on mine would give no doubt you were coming miles away.

I quite like an orange bike.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

I like my 06 GSF1200S - last of the air cooled! did a lot of NA on it!
I need to go somewhere I've not been but won't know until I get there!

Nice bike Global. I know of one sitting in a caravan park next to the ocean. Hardly any use but rusting away. Bloke wont sell it as he reckons hell fix it one day. Never will. Such a waste.
