Where can I buy some new ones of these?
part number?

I managed to break mine when removing (they were really brittle)

They're a generic item & just about any bike shop or autobody shop would have them.  I got some from a Yamaha farm bike dealer a while back, just cause I was in there .

Loads on Ebay.
I think these were the ones I used to replace mine. 8mm hole fitment. Just be sure to check the dimensions before you order.

I use plastic number plate nuts and bolts, can be used over and over without damage, and it's more secure.

They would hold really well, but how the hell did you get your hands in behind the seat tail plastics to hold the nuts in place. It's such a tight space in there.

OK so notty cites 6 mm,
froudy cites 8 mm

I can't even go out and remove one to confirm the size as I no longer own a GSX1400 😪
At a guess I'd go with Nottys 6mm.

I'd say 6mm as well - those ones that Notty bought look to be exactly the same as standard

That's the really difficult bit, but I often put a bit of silicone on the nuts to hold them in place.

Vlad go to a panel beaters or body shop, l use them all the time.
To get them out without breaking l spray WD40 on them and push the centre in until they click then they lift out.
But then you already knew that.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎
