Yoda, reckon you should be, 160 or so bhp, have ridden with 2. They do lots of things so right. Bloody fast.

24kilos lighter is a real plus 👍makes manoeuvring a lot easier on my hands. I am  sad about selling my 14 but just not ready to give up biking yet.  :onya:

I like the K1600 BMW as a second bike, it makes the GSX1400 feel light.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

I've got a mate with one of them, they can bloody shift with a good rider onboard. You're right about heavy though, he dropped it in france & I picked it up as he couldn't.

You know, I thought you were going to say he dropped the bike in France and you felt it hit the ground in Britain.

I've also an insane hankering for a DR650.  :frustrated:

I have a DR350 which I only ever used off road, one day I followed a guy on a 650 on the Bucketts Way from Gloucester to Taree he was doing over 170 kph in parts, seen guy's touring on them and sitting at 120 easy.

Just do it Mike - they're a heap of fun and cheap as chips! If I could have only one bike, it'd be a DR650!  :onya:

I plan on living forever - so far, so good!

Mate bought a new DR650 and rode it from one side of the US to the other, along many back roads and trails. He had nothing but praise for it.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

@black14
My 350 is the same style it's 1991 and been trashed in the bush still going strong, when I get back to Oz it will be going on Club Plates, thirty years old.

Any of the DRs are great bikes in my opinion. Not the best at anything but can do pretty much everything.
My little jaunt round Aus 2019 - I'm thinking might have been a bit more of a challenge in 2020...

Sure, can you convince my wife because there's no way in hell I can. She no longer thinks I should have one bike let alone more than one...   Something boring about paying more off the mortgage now she's nearing retirement age.  :rolleyes:

I'm of the view that seeking forgiveness is usually easier than seeking permission...
