Has anyone had a Woolich tune done on their 14. Mate had his MT10 done Friday. $500 total. Made a huge difference.

gsxbarmy

Is that possible on the 14 @grog? Don't you need things like lambda sensors and the suchlike to get the real benefit of the Woolich tune (I don't know, just asking)
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

From a look on their website you can do the below on a 14 (first list is K5 onwards, second list is K2-K4). So a bit more than a PC3 can do & I'd assume at least as accurate for fine tuning, but it doesn't state the steps that I can see (ie every 250rpm on a USB PC for fuelling).

I don't know anyone who's had it done though.

Hooli

I've just found the videos on their site, the fuel maps appear to be every 200rpm and the editing software is a bit more advanced.

I was wrong about cost, total $800.

Ouch!.

What;s a PC V go for these days?

Thats not bad, USD445, but do you get access to tune files and fuel maps etc to download and try?

My Daytona 675 had similar, you could upload your tune file and download others to try.

Would be interesting to see how a K3 goes, im assuming this is regardless of having yoshimura s1 cams or not.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

It looked like it from what I was reading.

I find it amazing how they map bikes. A spreadsheet, lots of squares. They do runs with various gears, throttle openings until every sq filled. As best A/F for each position. O2 sensor is never used again. Pairs is blocked, Yamaha have sim system. Once mapped, bike just uses whats set. 37 runs on mates bike b4 they were happy. All documented after. If not happy within 6 mths will do again free. His bike now super smooth all thru, 13 hp gain, 14 ft lbs torque extra. Exhaust sound, full Akra, now so different, just a full on growl. 163 hp at back wheel. Yeah i know MT10 is ugly, not our type of bike. All that stuff. But what a ride now, just incredible grunt/power, any revs you like, scary is a word, throttle adjusts whatever you want at will. Big tick for results from me.

Hooli

What they're doing is no different to re-jetting a carb, it's just more precise & doesn't need parts swapped.

I'm surprised they disconnect the O2 sensor, I'd have thought they'd set the target A/F ratio & let the bike self-adjust to keep it.

Exactly correct Hooli. i remember the old days, fitting diff exhausts etc. Didnt use dynos then, just test rides. Yeah, O2 not needed they say, all positions mapped, MAP sensor adjusts for altitude, IAT for temp. I also surprised not using Lambda. Im gonna ring them regarding my bike, to me it runs perfectly. Just ask what improvement i could expect over now, not interested in changing cams or exhaust. I was just amazed at what they achieved with Yam.
