Hi there, I'm Robbin, living in The Netherlands, new here and a fresh owner of a K3 1400. I rescued the bike out of a garden where it had been sleeping for the last 4 years or so.
I had 3 choices.... 1- clean it up and leave it stock, 2- sell it in pieces, or 3- modify  ???
So, the choice has been made and it will be modified into a scrambler   The bike is too far gone to bring it back to stock and selling it in parts is not my thing.

I've just started taking the damaged bits off, getting some scrambler parts, determin the looks and what gadgets I must have on it. In a while I'll start a new topic showing the progression of the build.

Gidday Alfred, welcome to the forum.  A scrambler, that'll be an interesting looking thing for sure.  I'd of thought is was too heavy for that sort of thing, but there ya go.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Welcome along, interesting project.  Good to see the K3's are still kicking around.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.
