Bov, i like that idea, couple of questions. does chain length need to be changed ? bike obviously handles it ok. no harder to take off? no clearance probs as youve done it. 3k revs is now spot on 100 you think? where do i get one? thanks mate.
chain length should be ok and clearance is fine. Rpm is about 2950 at indicated / true 100 according to sat nav. As snapey said metalgear who are in north brisbane and on ebay stock them

thanks Snapey n Bov. will get one for next chain  renew. Esjot are highly rated. 120 bucks cheaper than oem. will get both sprockets from them. my chain will be zzz EK, supposedly the best. cant fault the EK i have at moment. very good price.

I ordered Renthal fron and rear from US if I remember correct, but I suppose if you drop those guys an email, they might have em ordered.

I've never been impressed with Demon Tweeks...
It's always "Prices From" which puts me off right away. If they can't state their price then I'm not even going to bother looking any further :furious:

Oh, didn't know that.

I actually ordered my renthal fron sprocket from kneedraggers.com but I suppose they dont exist anymore. But back then it cost 26$ and it was actually 16 teeth  :imrgreen:

Motorbike bits are a secondary thing for Demon Tweeks, it's mostly car stuff they are into.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

I've used them for my last 4 sets of Renthal 789's.

Delivered to my door in Brisbane, quicker and cheaper than ordering them in at my local shop. I'm happy to deal with them again .

So, finally I have installed 17 tooth front sprocket.
What can I say - I like it. But I did like my 14, before installing smaller sprocket, also :). Bike seems being little bit more sharp, but I totally accept, it may be placebo effect.

Next Saturday, if weather will be OK, I will take a part in drag race, and if my times will be better then last year (best was 11.8 on 1/4mile) then there is a point of using 17 tooth front sprocket.

I find this article: http://www.superstreetbike.com/bigger-rear-sprocket-makes-more-horsepower-mythbusters
According to this, no power gain should be. Even opposite... :( But I assume, power loss is statistical error... If someone have some dyno run examples on any bikes with different sprockets, please share them here.
