This is why I added an inline filter before the teabag .
Helps reduce and crap building up where you can't easily see it .
Hope all is well when you get to try it .
Once summer has relaxed abmnd the rain is less .

I'd seen the pics and read the stories, but was still surprised by the amount of shit I found

The other day when i had my tank off i found mines still got the tank cleaner rolling around inside (a couple of magnets in a plastic cage) does yours still have this? I had the fuel pump out to clean the teabag and hp filter flush.  There was some rust flakes but all stuck to the tank cleaner.  Works well i think.

Would  seem to me if you're  getting a lot of rubbish in the teabag, your tank cleaner could  be missing or de-magnetized?

It does aye. I suspect a big magnet on the outside of the tank would do a similar thing too.

Magnets in a plastic bag rolling around? Could someone explain how a magnet could roll around in a steel tank please.

 OK so curiosity got the better of me and so i took the tank off and fuel pump out last night.

Here are the two widgets that roll around in my tank.  Apologies, they are not magnetic, but looking at the inside of the tank when tipped on its side its perfectly clean and zero rubbish in the teabag, i think they are doing their job amicably.

The last photo is of the inside upper side of the tank, i could not get one from the side or lower edge.  Tank is original Dec 2002, still has the inspection sticker on the underside up near the head stem.
