Mine are Hel lines in mid blue colour with titanium fittings and have been on the bike for 10 years cannot fault them.

So HEL are not the manufacturer, so they get them made in China.

These were from a pre packed set, so as the bike out of production for so long would have thought it a bit of a waste trying to sort it?

They'll be made as a massive roll of hose & then cut to length I'd have thought. So still made & just cut to different sizes.

agree new ones will be just made of big rolls  but Both packs I have bought were in a vacuum sealed packaging with a complete set, my guess they were made and put on the shelf a long time ago

No matter how you look at it. Shit quality that must be costing them more in the long run. By offering a lifetime guarantee.

I thought they were made in the UK in Exeter?

If they are made in China that'll explain the shit quality.

Of coarse the big roll and fittings are made in China, and put together by Chinese in Exeter.
