Four blade 24" steel prop. Prop shaft 40 mm below the bottom. Max speed 58 knots, 107 kph.     50 knots, 93 kph in pic.

Yeah, it's something you'd expect to see on a Hydroplane, not a boat like that!    A 'Sleeper' boat!  bet you have fun with that setup.

I did see one the other week but not if he/she was just visiting. I've not seen another one in the 18 months I've been here.

My other hobby/money pit, it's a 1964 EH Holden with lots of custom work done to it. Pretty much only the shell is almost standard, everything else is changed. Hoping to have it on the road next year.

My hotrod project. Based on a 1996 Wolseley (sort of an extended mini). Build in Wales, UK, in the early 90's, modified over the next 25 years and then sat a while when the owner/builder died. Now with me in France. Has a semi hopped up 350 chevy, 4 speed transit gearbox (apparently the done thing back in the day), ford capri lsd, full roll cage etc. The body is apparently made of 17 pieces from different cars mashed together. Needs full rewiring, interior making good, broken suspension sorting and new carb, new exhaust etc. Hopefully running next year, had hoped this year but other stuff to work on as you do
