I have all new chrome for it when she goes back to Primrose the original colour but son says leave it like it is - in fact enhance the patina!!! But she would not be able to have a collector plate!
:hat:
I need to go somewhere I've not been but won't know until I get there!

Kiwifruit

In 2020 it would'nt be allowed on the road here with that amount of patina on display.
I like your truck  :onya:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

It was a California car so body is solid - most rust is on the bonnet. It sailed through the inspection 18 months ago for registry here. I may not get around to redo this one as have another C GT on the go with is also a California solid car and then there is my C GT body that eventually end up as a GTS - that one needs lots of body work. Never a dull moment!

Having had a number of modified classic cars in the past i thought it would be easier to own and maintain something standard, i fancied an mgc gt but found prices were over my budget, then i stumbled across this 1967 mk1 mgb gt back in 2014 with just 24,000 miles, no synchro  to 1st gear, complete with aluminium bonnet, another must have..... i thought.

Don't think i kept it for much more than 6 months, anyway just for you .

A few years ago I bought some filing cabinets at auction but recently the bottom drawer on one of them stopped coming out all the way. There had to be a reason so I took the drawer out only to find some paper work and 235 little surprises in an envelope. I'll have to check the others now.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

Reminds me of when I found $15 from Jamaica on the floor in Yorkshire, got home to find it was worth about 50p. No idea what happened to it either.

Good outcome Snapey. Was a similar story here couple of years ago. Suitcase from op shop had 12g in it. Best ive done is used cars with a few bucks under back seat.

What I didn't look at with these old notes was the 11 x $20's were running numbers. Too late now but they might have been worth a lot more than $235.
