I'll kick it off,  we're heading to Kaikoura (Peketa) camping ground, no surprises there.  We'll have most of the kids & grand kids (9) with us just after Christmas through New Year. Lots of mouths to feed, 17 - 18 each meal.
Summer down this way so they'll all be in tents with a big communal area for cooking & eating, all under canvas. We put it all up before they arrive & take it down when they go, getting bloody tiring as we age I can tell ya.
We'll have the boat, so hope the weather is kind for fishing & Cray fishing (Lobster). Three quad bikes up there too, so they get a thrashing with everyone on them for a week or so.
Really looking forward to it, lots of planning to make it all come together & it's seems to be over so quick.

So what you doing?

As Xmas is my quiet time for work & i'm forced to take holidays. I will be doing my usual for the past 3 years or so & finishing work on fri 13th, set the bike up for a trip & head off on mon 16th for my 4 day solo ride. Before returning for the family Xmas commitments.

I was planning to head North, but due to the bush fires, I have changed plans to head South. (Now fires in the South   :bugga:)
Now have a 4 day trip planned which will see me do the South Coast & Victoria. 4 x 550-600km days through some of the best roads NSW & VIC have to offer, which should turn out to be around a 2300 km trip if all goes to plan.

Not much planned for the festive season other than sleeping and eating.

I'ts the busy season at work; sheduled myself for 23 days in a row. On average i will work 10 hours a day. (We have a production plant stop so it's maintenace period for us)

This luckily only happens once a year but it is recurrent.  This will be my 22 time at this plant  :onya:

It's good for the bank account and leaves   ;)
