I still use a Yankee 131  Screwdriver. Much better for taking slotted screws out.

I used a Stanley Yankee driver when I worked as a Hotpoint field service engineer..Brilliant bit of kit. I got through 3 of them in 18 years!!
I eventually progressed to a cordless driver, but it was nowhere near as fast.

Some of the old doors iI work on in Edinburgh are over 100 years old,no way can I get them off with a cordless.

You were lucky to find one in the UK, especially for that price. I just had a quick look and most were well worn and in the USA.
I'm seeing my Dad tomorrow..I'll see if he still has his :imrgreen:
