My usual post as a reply to the many engine oil questions on several of the Bandit pages that I frequent on Facebook.... :rofl2: :rofl2:

Some forums I visit just ban and delete those kind of topics. Just like politics,  insurance or car topics they all are considered distractions from the main cause of the site.

I just found this posted on a Suzuki Bandit page on Face ache...It is so true :rofl2:

"Morning, I have a few questions.

When I put fuel in my tank, my bike runs. When it's empty, it doesn't. Anybody had a similar problem?

Also, I have taken my carbs off, cleaned them badly with my finger and now I'm running on 3. The jets have never been changed and it's a 22 year old bike. How do I fix this?

What tyres do you all recommend? I want something good in all weather's, as I push my tyres beyond TT limits on my Sunday bimble.

How much pointless crap can I mount to my heavily depreciated Bandit? I want it to look a f*cking eyesore but, I will get offended if you point this out.

Lastly, I have a smartphone with a Google search bar but, I'd rather ask stupid questions to a bunch of bandit owners because it makes me feel part of the club.

Oh, and I could go and find a Haynes manual to fix any issue with my bike but, I'd rather follow a lasher on YouTube and spend all my money on Chinese bike bling.

@Del your bike is faster as you've lost weight  :stir:

If you wanted it to go really fast you should have fitted my paint work while you had it and gone for a run . :whistling:
Real speed there. :happy1:

There are those that are lazy but many who are less able to search and find what they are looking for.

Mister Fishfinger

I'm an admin on another site for classic bikes. It's great to help people out with the particular issues they might have on that particular model, but really tiresome when the same basic bike maintenance stuff just keeps coming round again and again.

Sad but true - if you aren't handy with spanners, you really shouldn't be trying to fix up a 40 year old bike.
