PCIII & PCV Map Sharing

Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone here would be willing to share thier PCIII or PCV maps?

I have picked up a cheap PCIII and was looking for some base maps that would suite my bike until I can afford some time on a dyno:

Current set-up is:
-DNA Air filter (similar to K&N)
-Slip on 450mm Delkevic Exhaust
-stock headers.

If anyone has a similar setup and would be willing to share a Screenshots of their fuel adjustments on the dynojet program that would be much appreciated

Just to help as I don't think that @Dan B 's set up.is covered by dunojets maps .
Can anyone suggest which can on the map list is nearest to his delvic one .

I have the map from my Beowulf's which is not so far off - but what model 14 do you have Dan B, mine is off a K7, so good for a K5/6/7, but not earlier models

I mentioned to seth that I had looked at the available maps on dynojets website and nothing matched mine, but I was going to test the provided maps with various slip-ons and try my luck

Two same set up bikes not fueling same. This is not good idea load some universal net map or map from another "same" bike. It is just good to get bike to dyno tuner. But for this you can use zero map too, just not go over 3000 revs.

Try a few of the downloaded ones off the PC website, they are all a bit rich for safety so won't be an issue to run. A proper dyno tune is worth it long term though, my 14 gained about 3-4mpg compared to a downloaded map so it's paid for itself loads of times, plus it rides better which is more important.

That's for PCIIIs. The PCV uses 'autotune' so will adjust to suit your engine to get the required exhaust gas readings, so a map should work for any bike with similar mods & adjust itself till it's correct as you ride.

You might find one map runs better at high revs & another at low revs. I did on my ex's HD, so I 'bodged' at mix of them up & blurred the figures to give a smooth transition between maps. It run fine like that for years afterwards & was one of the quickest 883s at that level of tune according to the place that did custom stuff on it for her.

@Hooli they have a really good tool on the dynojet software called map compare which allows you to see the average and difference in fuel adjustments for different maps. I was just planning patch a map to get me by for a bit.

I would love to get some time on the dyno but I have a 6 week old baby at home, so it will have to wait for a bit (probably 18-25 years from what I hear)

My point is the AFR table for any engine with the same mods will be the same, the autotune will deal with the individual differences in the engines.

I've not seen that tool, but as that HD was the last time I touched a PCIII back in about 2011 it's probably newer than that.

My 14 has a PCIII (so old it's the serial verison, not USB) but since getting mapped in 2008 it's never needed to be touched.

If it was me......

I'd stick a stock air filter in and not waste my time with aftermarket.
Just changing cans alone and not the front pipes isn't normally a big deal on later large fuel injected Suzuki's. I've tourer, drag raced and put high mileage on a Busa's and the B-King without touching the mapping.

If it ran OK and the plugs looked OK I wouldn't be in a hurry to do anything.

A PC111 or 5 is always nice on older bikes like the 14 and factory fueling is never ideal. Don't buy into the "Suzuki know best" mantra, they are working to lots of emissions and guidelines the public aren't.

My PC111 was set up properly on a dyno to my pipe, new genuine air filter, BP98 etc and hasn't been touched in many years.

In my mind I see 14's as not being that high tech or high performance, I think even an old PC111 is adequate to set them up right, fit (with a dyno) and forget.

Just my opinion and what's worked well for me.

An affordable second hand akrapovic exhaust system came up for sale around the same time my tax refund came back (obviously a sign).

That makes it a bit easier to pick a map from the ones listed on dynojets website

I Have a PC3 USB that came with my bike that i have removed.
The bike was running very poorly when i purchased it and the previous owner had fitted the PC3 and had it tuned in an attempt to fix it the problem but was unsuccessful, hence the map is horrible.
I have looked on the Dynojet website and followed the link above, but it looks like you can no longer download any PC3 maps for a GSX1400.
Does anybody have a copy of a map to suit K7 with a Yoshi slip on and K&N filter? or even a stock map?
I know it will need to be tuned but before i waste money on a tune i want to get the PC3 fitted and working properly.
