Hi guys, sorry if its a stupid question but I am bidding on a new Hel s/s clutch line but there are no fittings - Are the banjo bolts the same size as the brakes ? I have just received my full replacement brakes pipes from Hel so have spare fittings  :)
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

The banjo bolt on the clutch slave cylinder is different Geoff, however the one on the master cylinder is the same. However you can re-use the banjo bolts, and given its only the slave cylinder banjo bolt that is different (has a different thread), then the bolt on the slave cylinder won't be seen anyway (you will just need to use new copper washers either side).

I've done this on a couple of 14's where HEL sent the wrong banjo bolt with no ill effects or loss of performance in the clutch line, so no problem in re-using that banjo bolt
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

I think I've got a few various thread banjo bolts "In Stock" ;)

I'm away to Cornwall for the week tomorrow though.

  Hi @Notty & @froudy

Slighty off topic, but went to Pendine Sands for the first time last w/e to watch the old Hotrods racing along the beach.

Great country with stunning beaches and scenic views  :onya:

Nice one @Milts.
I went a few years ago to watch bikes racing on Pendine beach. The wind was so strong you could barely stand...The event got cancelled on the day :furious:
