 Hi

While cleaning my 14 today my neighbour commented on it's fine condition and said 'Those wheels must be powder coated',
'No' they are just standard factory white painted wheels i replied.

So, to settle a Fish n chip supper bet, who is right? ......and who better to ask ?  :onya:

        Thanks in advance

If factory finished they would have been painted .
Someone could have had them powdercoated during thier life but they would have been paint when new.

I am trialing some clear plastic surface protection film on my rear wheels, I'm employed in the plastic market.

It's like the plastic film on stainless steel and acrylic sheets, when removed it leaves no residue. I'm sick of the chain/road grime on my white wheels, so these will act like a tear-off on visors/goggles. So, if it works, I'll consider marketing it as a kit. The autobahns in Europe should be a good test to see how well they hang on in top gear with WOT!
The initial attraction to motorcycling inflicts people for various reasons and at different stages in their lives. But once someone experiences the elation of riding a motorcycle there's no denying the nearly spiritual effect it has.

Try that in Switzerland and you may end up in jail for quite some time, your bike will have a new owner as well as it gets confiscated.

Only place you can do this without getting expensive is Germany. Beware that there are multiple sections with speed limit on the Autobahn there too.

Oh, we right on the right hand side of the road. :happy1:
