No doubt you'll be going to visit the supplier then . . .   & having a word with them re the shoddy plugs.

Yes went back and got a replacement and filled out a complaint sheet to go to NGK...

36k miles on the b/r k5 so oil and filter changes today (good old Halfords 10w/30 semi synthetic motorcycle oil and a hi-flo oil filter .
Still plugs to do next weekend and maybe a chain and sprocket kit before our summer holiday end of next month .

My halfrauds sells champion oil filters, k301 fits our bikes.

I had another go at undoing that bolt, it's still seized so I left it soaking and went out on the Hornet. My god that thing is tiny with a hard seat. I'm tempted to get axmate who does seats to stick a gel pad in it for me, not cutting anything out though as bit more leg room would be nice.

@Hooli just the filter I had in the shed new .
I have several I picked up new over the years all less than £5 Lol

Tried that bolt again tonight, still seized. I think I need to buy a blowtorch and warm it up.

Re-fitted my centre stand, bastard thing.
This resulted in me getting a partially black eye from the foot pad when it the stand suddenly swung up when I had tension on the spring.
Apprentice error!

Agree Mate, just bastard things to fit. Sorry to hear about your injury. Similar thing but worse i reckon. Fitting Yoshi can, a bracket supplied stops stand from hitting muffler. Fits over stand pivot area, bolt then has to go thru stand and bracket both ends. What a prick of an almost impossible job. Then need to get two rubber bumpers into the bracket.Almost impossible again. A huge test of patience and improvisation.

Today i pulled my spare set of 6 pots apart, which were kindly donated by our illustrious leader Vlad. 9 pistons free, 3 seized. All on one side, that pad not worn as much either so guessing were sticky while on bike. Maybe why the 4 pots felt better Mike. Pistons look good. Bolts, seals, pads n paint. Keep them gold or re do black? Im not sure. Will order bits this week, DP pads at Suzuki dealer Nth Brisbane Team Moto?? $90, a good price for great pads. Should be then just swap n bleed.

Getting last clamp bolt out today, had seized in housing. So tight it snapped T40 torx bit. Just twisted caliper halves, all good. Torx bit has lifetime guarantee, should replace it. Stainless pistons look perfect. Happy so far. The socket extension with socket inside piston sure is a winner. So easy. Used 1/4 drive extension, 7mm socket, 11mm for each size. Brilliant tip, no need to buy special tool.  :salute:

In the (in)famous words of a certain one time fish and chip store owner, "please explain?"
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Other tip, invented by me. Use air pressure, one side always moves easier. Once they move, push back in, fit old pad,use tie wire to contain it to that side, just wrap around caliper. one piece either end of pad. More air and other side will pop out. Works so easy.
