Cheers, the top one at A is exactly where its leaking from.

Replace that washer first then @Eric GSX1400K3 as it will prob solve the problem
Spot on  - replaced washer on top and bottom casing bolts with new red fibre jobbies.  Ran the bike up to temperature and pleased to report no oil leaks.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

I've ordered a replacement off Westcountry Windings as they don't rewind Triumph ones. I've used them before for my 14 getting rewound so I know the stuff is normally ok.

Notty

Bike gone to my mates garage as he has a ramp for its winter overhaul. He rode to my house and his Fazer 1000 has gone in my garage and he rode mine some 10 miles to his house. He rang as soon as he got in and couldn't believe how well the bike handles and he said he was in sixth most of the time. Could have a new member soon !!!  :smile2:
that's his 1100 RT on the left and his 1996 fireblade under cover next to my 14
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

A low milage bike like Nottys' & still the clamps are like that!  Glad we don't have anything like that down under.  Hang on, are we really down under? ??? :confused1:  or are that lot just over the top?  :stir: :whistling:

Today i checked if i still have a 14. Been around 3 weeks of storms, crap weather. Tyres pumped, quick wipe over, Bowdens Boss Gloss, excellent product. Started no probs. Weather forecast this week much better. Stick an L plate on, off i go. 👍👍

Today I did the ignition advance mod, got it to about 3, maybe 3.5° I reckon.
Really pleased with the results, I have been noticing when I hit a town and have to slow down that the bike is not as smooth as I would like cruising on 40 or 50, almost like a bit of chugging but only just noticeable, the mod has smoothed that out very nicely indeed but also I notice a considerable jump up in low end torque, even in 6th at 100kph, dunno why I didn't do this ages ago, it only took about 40 minutes, didn't even need a new gasket.
