I had them on both 14's and the 700 Yamaha quad, but since getting the Rocket & using their std grips, I can't go back to the sleeved ones, I took them off because they felt too fat.  Weird I know, because I rode thousands of K's with them on & really liked them!  :whatever:   Just what yer hand gets used to I guess.

Do they only come in one thickness ?
I have them on both bikes, it makes for a better grip with slightly arthritic fingers.

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

I had them on both bikes at one stage. Back to std now, I was getting cramps in forearm and between thumb and forefinger on the throttle hand, turns out I was hyper extending that tendon, made worse in winter gloves and when covering the brake when lane filtering.  Haven't missed them since removing them. They are comfy on long rides though
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Fitted my SSB LH51913 600CCA battery to the Bavarian Mistress. Turns over just by hovering over the starter button.  Having some voltage irregularities though,  I think the alternator diode might be on the way out (no regulator on these K bikes AFAIK).

Agreed...they make those longer rides more enjoyable for me.
There's always room in the world for a bit more tolerance and kindness.

Yes for the Pussy Grips, there is another brand (name escapes me) slightly thicker. And yes my hands are arthritic, especially both thumbs, very ouch !

Grip Puppies another brand.Throttle Rocker is a can of worms, loved or hated. IMO one of the best inventions. Can take the weight off fingers for a rest, heel of hand holds throttle open. Been on nearly 15 yrs , feels strange to ride a bike without it, way easier. Each to their own I guess.

For the last 6 or 7 years my main bike has had cruise control. I thought it'd be a bit of a novelty that I sometimes played with.

Turns out I love it!  I never ride a bike with it without using it. I doubt I'd ever buy a main bike again that didn't have it.

I've tried various wrist rests and sticky throttle versions and never got on with them. Proper factory cruise control makes a huge difference to me.

Never tried the throttle lock, but i love the CC on the Bavarian Mistress.  Agree that sometimes a rest of the rh fingers would be good.

Grip puppies is what I had, same deal with a foam cover over the grips.

Probably had 10 cars/utes with cruise control, just never liked, yeah, i tried but no go. Just me.

Hooli

I never thought I'd use cruise on a bike, but I got the HD with it & use it all the time.

I tend to find on long trips I'm trying to plan so far ahead I never have to switch the cruise off, so it actually makes me pay slightly more attention to my riding without the normal creeping increase in speed.

KiwiCol

I use CC all the time, I get up to highway speed & lock it in.  I don't necessarily stay at that speed all the time, sometimes faster & other times (twisties) slower, but being able to push 1 button & you're right back to legal speed with no chance of being pulled over is a very handy feature for me.  :imrgreen:

As well as the cruise control the Busa has a speed limiter. Set it and the bike holds back at that speed. I tried it at 105 kph and had a lazy ride and, yeah, it works.

My first thought was "This could be REAL dangerous!". Needing to get out of someone's way or misjudging an overtake etc.

Turns out Suzuki (like most people) are smarter than me.

It is a speed limiter, it does hold you back, but any sort of aggressive use instantly over rides it, not entirely unlike overriding cruise control.

It was a novelty for about 10 minutes. Don't think I've touched it in over 2 years.

Pretty sure the Merc Limiter works the same way, I very rarely use Limiter though, occasionally where there's a long stretch of road works & the limit is 30kph, don't want to go speeding through roadworks site.
