I think I might have cracked it, if my assumption Suzuki part numbers checks out. As I understand them the 5 digits before the dash are the part & the next 5 are the colour coding.

I'm pretty sure we already know that TL-1000, GSXR600/750/1000 an SV1000 all have the same rear disc right? if so then EBC VR3060 will fit, the discs for all those have same the first 5 digits as the 14 just a different colour code.

I'll do some more checking on tanks/tails etc to confirm what I think about the part numbers, but if it checks out I'll order the above EBC as it matches the fronts I've got. I'm not worried about colours as my fronts have blue centres that'll need painting black anyway.

I thought the tl1000 used a 220 mm rear disc and gsx 260 mm
Thankfully we all like different things, and I like a modded GSX1400

Yeah looking further into it, I was wrong. The first 5 digits are the type of part, ie a disc, the next 5 are the specific version & if there's a 3rd group that's the colour code.

What's really annoying is I've seen the type of EBC I want fitted on a 14 so I know they exist. It's just trying to work out exactly what I need. I'll keep trying to make sense of stuff.

Hmm Busa seems to be the only thing with a 260mm disc like ours but it's a different Suzuki part number so must differ & EBC don't list one anyway. 6 bolt fitting & EBCs do exist on ebay but not on the EBC site.

This is rather frustrating as I know I've seen at least one fitted in the past, so something out there is what I want.

If I remember correctly when I was trying to match my wavy discs front and rear, the 2008 to 2017 is 260 mm, but uses a six bolt fixing, whereas the gsx is 5 bolt.
The only rear I found that was close was the one I linked, gsx rear disc is kinda unique

What Lurch said. £115 from sportsbikeshop.

Not exactly, like the EBC wavy front but it is the rear that EBC call wavy  :onya:

It'd be easier to sling the ugly waveys over the hedge & solve the problem, but I'm trying to help a mate out who wants them & is picky about her bike.

The nearest I've found is EBC VR3108 at 250mm, which is still a touch small. It's a shame you'd need a lot of fancy work to move the caliper in 5mm.

The EBC MD3083C is the correct one for the gsx14. Honest, I just fitted one.

That's why I'm taking them off Grog, awful ugly broken looking things.

any reason to discard the multitude of Chinese wave or classic round ?
except prejudices.
Experience is the only  priority

I just want one that looks the same as the EBC Vee Rotor fronts I've got. I can't find anything that does from any make so far.

I had Fabio Quartararo take the ZZR1200 for a spin around the track 😁🤣😁🤣😁🤣
