Ordered one, AUD115 delivered. My usual go-to Mick Hone online has them (OEM Suzuki) for AUD167 plus AUD25 delivery, making the Webike option for the same sensor about AUD80 cheaper.

Good find Mr.Hooli, much appreciated.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Friday evening rather than today, but I've been too lazy post it. I fitted some new lights on my 14.

I don't particularly like them, but suspect in winter they'll add a bit to being seen. The main reason is now I' training as an advanced riding instructor the associate in front needs to see my indicators from far enough away to know when to take a junction & they couldn't with the old ones.

Hopefully this link works to show them as indicators too.

For £12 of finest chinesium off the bay of e, they seem to do the job pretty well.

Then saturday a ride to Bridlington for 'Race the Waves'. It's meant to be hotrods, classic bikes etc etc racing on the beach, but it was the only place in Yorkshire with fog so the racing didn't happen. Had a fun day out anyway & all the lesser bikes clustered around my 14 to look as good too.

Oh & I took my sensible* hat as it was steampunk weekend there too.

Pub was required on the way home as dehydration is dangerous, this was about 10mile from the coast & 12c hotter...

Quote from: grog on Wednesday, 08 May  2024, 07:03 PMAll i did today was a bit of research. TPS for 14 is stupid price. Same fits quite a few diff bikes.Ill find out if cheaper available. Its only a rheostat, nothing special, some on Ali just $20. One that fits, join a couple of wires.ill keep looking.Same 14 sensor listed at fitting 10 or so bikes, small Suzi, yamahas, gsxr.Might end up dead end or pay $300 for a spare.

$110 AUS delivered for genuine...

I bought two from there this morning, I'll let you know when they arrive next week. I got two as it's as cheap as one from a dealer here so rude not to have a spare.

I have looked around for others before but couldn't find any specs on direction of rotation & the resistance so wasn't confident they'd work. I guess a lot of time in workshop manuals etc would find that, but I didn't bother.

Just to say my two TPS turned up today, that's 6 days from ordering. Can't fault that from Japan, especially for half the price they are here. They look right & are in proper Suzuki boxes, I'll have to fit one soon & see if they work & cure the fault.

Ordered mine on 9.5, also 6 days to Western Australia. Genuine Suzuki. Happy days.

Test run to a local bike night & wow I'd forgot just how good these bikes should be. I didn't think it was affecting it much, but it's made a huge difference.

Great result Hooli. Sensors do get old, not function correctly. While back put new O2 sensor in car, extra 100 ks on a tank of juice. Really wish 14 had come with O2 sensors & OBD plug, would be much easier.

Got the bike a new mot, obviously it passed, it's the first time I've  seen someone else ride the bike (mot guy), christ it's a good looking bike, constantly getting nice comments about it. Tried out the new double bubble screen, good at 70, 80 is managable, 90 is still neck busting  :rofl2:

I let my Son in law take my CX round the block and she looked bloody gorgeous as he came back up the street, I think everyone should let someone else ride their bikes at least once, to see them from a different perspective.

have you tried another helmet? I had a Shark that was very round, and on long rides would make my neck very stiff, found out it was due to it being so round it would create vortex shedding (look it up on google) that would then buffet my head from side to side, with my neck having to compensate, hence the stiffness. Now a new Shoei, more Aero in shape, and no more buffetting and no more sore neck. I don't have a screen on the K3.
