polished wheels

time  for some wheels and have to say these have been the one ive liked to polished the most I just loved doing them  :boogie: :smitten:

Spizz, biggest mistake I ever made was polishing my rims. Yes they looked nice but the slightest hint of damp in the air and they dulled big time. Also a pain when washing the bike or getting caught in rain, slightest water drop left a "ring" which had to be polished out.

Trouble is that Zooki used shite aluminium for the wheels.

Look lovely but I wish you well keeping them like that under UK weather conditions buddy.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement :lol:

barmy mate I don't seem to get that even if I ride in rain still no props I'm sure its that wash wax I use its the only thing I can think of .haven't washed  the bike with water for a while so if you have had it then I think I would but not yet :coffeescreen:

Well if you're not getting it Spizz, then it must be the polish or whatever you are using bud, I tried Belgom Alu, Mothers Mag & Alloy, Megs and a couple of others - none really worked for me, I forever seemed to be polishing them!

But if yours stay nice and shiney - maybe the alloy Zooki used to manufacture your wheels was a better batch than when they did mine
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement :lol:
