I have a 2007 Gsx1400 with 50000 km on it. It has been maintained properly and pampered by myself and the previous owner with the most recent (Suzuki dealer) service done 3000 km ago.

During my last few rides, for the first 20 km or so, the bike seems to surge a bit.

It will still rev freely and accelerate hard.

After 20 km, reverts to running normally.

The bike is only run on premium fuel and distances ridden range from 30 to 300 km.

Feels like minor fuel starvation.

Any suggestions?

Suggest cleaning high/low pressure fuel filters - there's a how to in the Tech section.

Also may want to check your fuel pump pressure regulator - some stuff that is good to know on it HERE.

And welcome aboard  :hat:
