WTF are they doing to you over there Jeff? You need to get back here so Dan can bash some sense in to you.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

Should be comfy.

I had one. The standard screen was awful, it directed the wind at eyelevel, I couldn't even do 30mph with my visor up. Lucky it also came with a givi barn door. Only other things I'd have done long term was an adjustable clutch lever and quicker throttle tube

I think they've got a cam belt haven't they?

It's at Dan's place in Oz, It is some type of Monaro with a big block in it, his orange IMA 14 in the background.

I have the standard screen for it, but it has a GIVI on it, don't know what it's like as I havn't even ridden it. I stole it of coarse that's why I have it, a mate in Oz has one and loves it although he is Honda bias still has his CB750K2 from new.
Not sure about engine running gear but have read they are good for 250000 miles, it has 18000.

Tally

Went down to wales to see froudy and bought his rattle gun had a cup of tea and a natter.

Swingarms rot out near the pivot as do exhaust collectors. I don't recall many other common issues when I looked into them.

Hope it's a good'un they are a decent bike.

Irish, ST1100 ? I saw one today, solo seat, no panniers, some weird rear guard. Same colour as yours. Are these what they call a Pan?

GSXKING

I'm fairly sure they were called PanAmerican in Oz.
There's a few ex Police bikes with solo seat doing the rounds 🧐🧐

@Hooli
Stainless steel headers are already on, very fussy previous owner, full original tool kit, manuals, mot's, extra's like headset and oxford grips all in the early versions and still working.

@grog
When they don't have the panniers on the rear end doesn't look right as the panniers are sort of moulded around. They are known as a Pan European in Europe/UK.

[/quote] nice bike Irish, I agree re the panniers, they form part of the overall bike silhouette.  My bmw is the same, looks all front heavy without the panniers on.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Hooli

Has it still got the flaps that fold down to cover the pannier mounts? Normally the pivots snap off.
