I just bought this pile of crap, said i'd never do another, but I don't like twiddling my fingers!!

Best bit is, I HATE these bloody things, but its something different to learn about.

About 98%  all there, & the previous owner started a so called restoration, but not very well, everything's  been sand-blasted, then aerosol painted over, leaving the pitted surface showing under,  so although no rust, it looks 'orrid'!!  No matter as its all coming down again anyway.
Rusty wheels have been silver-painted, & just about every nut & bolt is wrong, painted over many dents as well, but having said all that,
it's not really that bad at all.
New stainless rims & spokes delivered today & a new exhaust system should be here tomorrow, just ordered another grands worth of  parts.

It begins  ( again )

Yep, spot on, not sure of the year yet as there is no paperwork etc.

They were ,   wait for it,     £197.00 in 1960!!   Yep,   ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY SEVEN POUNDS!!!!!

BUT, my wage in 1962 was THREE POUNDS a week,  so around 65 or so weeks wages, so more expensive then than now.
I DO have to grow old, I DO NOT have to grow up.
