XKR would be ideal, I did try for a XJR but missed it before getting this. I can see a XJR in my future before they go up in price too much. This is my 2nd V8 but I've not owned a blower yet...

Well done finding a set Mark.
The 14 is a great packhorse, I've done lots of trips two up with luggage. Plenty of room and those racks just make life easy.

Cheers Kiwi. The wife and I are off into France and Germany next year and bought the 14 for touring as well as normal use. Didn't realise when I got rid of the 1250 Bandit that racks for our bikes were so hard to come by . I did get quite worried that we wouldn't be able to use it for touring but then managed to get mine from Stoli so hats off to him

14s are great for touring. Just stay out of Italy, if my recent experience is anything to go by 14s are allergic to the place!

Used to repair lots of Jags. The XKR is a car l really liked. Went pretty good too.

A lada that'll be a classic have made it this long as they didn't have the best reputation for lasting to long .

It has had the same owner from new, my father in law is, second owner
And it has null rust. 

So it is a keeper

Hooli, once had a run in supered xj jag. awesome car. have rebuilt xj6 motor, pretty much a nightmare. did a starter motor on xj12, another nightmare. rebuilt brakes on next door neighbours e type, back in 80s. whole system. got stolen 2 weeks later. many xj here that fit chev v8s. they go well. small blocks, 350 mainly. 5.7 litre.
