Clean bikes, everything in its usual place, golf clubs, tools even the food pantry. It's a curse, no rubbish in car, clean shed, grass mowed. Just hate it but can't change it.

Wish you lived closer, so you could demonstrate.  :onya:

Snap Grog, a bit (lot) of OCD but more the way I was brought up possibly, taught respect & to look after things which is what I do to the xtereme. Very often I get asked if the 14 is a brand new bike by people not in the know, possibly cleaner than the day it was sold, but also maintained to the highest level

I am just finishing this winters project, another Tiger 1050, it's come up well after being stripped to the chassis & rebuilt, bought it as a trade sale from a local dealer, didn't need much money just time which made it not viable for them to do at £100 plus per hour, not sure if I'm keeping her to do bit of touring as it has full luggage or selling but, there will be a bit of a profit in it I hope, so apart from keeping me entertained over winter it's been worthwhile

New leather jacket from Texspeed, really happy with it
Thankfully we all like different things, and I like a modded GSX1400

Just for a change, a tank of petrol. It's nearly gone again now...

Z1000sx, 2018 model, 2060 miles on the clock. Nice addition to the gsx.

Cheers, I wanted the emerald green as they really pop in the flesh so to speak. The idea being that it stays quite standard so all my spare cash goes on the gsx.

I thought "motorcycles" and "spare cash" are mutually exclusive concepts, or is that "wife and kids" and "spare cash" I can never remember....
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Unless you're an expert rider and able to ride the Kawasaki past it's limits there really is no point modifying much. Even their exhaust note is quite fruity in the higher rev range.

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

I agree, they sound ok but I couldn't live with it. Would have, to go

The latter sounds like something you get if you don't spend enough money on the former?

I have read that changing the silencers on a modern bike don't make much of a noise difference as its the catalytic converter the muffles most of the noise now  :whatever:

I think you are nearly right Phill.  If the cat is inline with the pipe it will make a noticeable difference changing the end can for a straight through but most bikes now have the cat inside a breadbox under the engine, changing the end can will only make a slight difference to the sound.  I'm actually considering ditching the end can all together on my Kawasaki as almost all the silencing is done in the breadbox.  That's my experience with 3 of my bikes at least.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Mate got a cat delete pipe for his MT10, sounds unreal now, that crossplane sound, one of the best, can hear it coming.

I ran my HD without the can to try it once, it sounded exactly the same as normal. Then I decatted it & it sounds like a HD now.

I've known people run Kwaks with just a chrome trip off the cat box under the engine & it's still quiet too.
