Looks like mine, except a different wheel clamp.

I keep saying I'll put a couple of rawbolts into the floor to stop it moving as I push bikes on, but then it's handy to be able to move it to the side at times. Maybe I'll drill the holes in the floor & just drop some bar in so I can lift them out as needed.

Drill and tap an M16 or 3/4" in the flat part of the foot, then use a suitable bolt that you can wind down to lock it in place, wind up to move it around. Saves drilling  holes in your floor.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Mines got tubes on the side designed for something to go in & poke down, if I could weld I'd put nuts on the bottom of them & use your idea.

The lift has wind down stoppers already fitted - blue circle at the bottom.  It has swivel castors on the front & cast wheels at the back.  It moves very easily, well, I did grease them all before commissioning it.   Same as the compound vice for the drill press, greased 3 threads & dry lube on the slides, that's moving nice as well.

Ah missed though, handy.

Bought about 2 weeks ago, arrived today. New screen for the Bavarian Mistress.  The old one was getting opaque and was scratched up.

The new one has 15% grey tint. it looks rather nice, I think.  In my view screens work on some bikes, not on all. The K1300GT is one where it definitely works.

I had another look at my ramp this morning after the chatter on here. Turns out the tube bits I mentioned are internally threaded so I just need to find the size & put big bolts in there. Looks about M12 or so.

Quote from Andre :
Yesterday was the 4th anniversary of a major flood here. Over 100 people lost their life. Many homes totally destroyed. They are rebuilding on the same spots.

Me : Our government buys continually flooded properties back and demolishes those homes and rezones the area never to be built on again.
There's been a few people on one side of a street bought out however the other side of the street is deemed OK.

I was involved in 1974 Brisbane floods as a child but never had a house flooded thank Buddha 🙏🙏

2 sets of locknuts, one for the caravan, the other for daughter #3 car, as thieving scum are scoping around stealing rear mounted spare wheels off caravans and SUV's.  Found our van wheel rear cover on the ground, and our neighbour had the same, but they also managed to get 2 of 3 lug nuts undone.

Needs a cull Eric, it's the only cure.

Not ideal weather for putting in plants, so I planted a garden arch (deep holes, lots of concrete) When it gets warmer I'll put some roses or climbers in.

Pragmasis 16mm x 2 metre chain, will be good for the garage but too heavy to carry around. Also oxford beast ground anchor.

Apparently I can't help myself, so I bought this. Quite tidy and only 26,000km. I'm not actually back on bikes yet so it'll be a challenge not to go overboard as I get into some maintenance and tidying up.
