Buy today ?

3 x Jacaranda Tree's and a Poinciana Tree.

Went past the tool shop. Didn't really need anything but grabbed a few little things as part of changed my very mixed collection of a dozen brands from over the last 40 years to an all Kincrome set. Slowly chipping away at it, bits at a time.

Plant those a long way from house, paths, pipes, power lines etc Tony. Lovely trees but destructive roots. My tools all different but too late to bother now. If you want the best hacksaw blade for your new frame, Bahco are amazing, i wish id found them 50 yrs ago.

Yeah, been putting in Hoop Pines, Bunya Pines, larger Gums and Wattles and a few others too.  I keep everything big away from the house, partly as the roof feeds our tanks and the less vegetation that can make it to the gutters the better, and partly to keep a fire break around the house, We are on the border of where the rural fire brigade start to back burn to protect the nearest town, but no trees around the house is a good thing.  I keep some short lawns around the house but most of my planting is 40-50m or more away.

I may have to plant out to mark a driveway. A forum member off here came to see me on his 1400 and ended up going off road across the front paddock trying to work out how to get to the house !

Or go American & put land mines in the paddock so they can't do that again

Thermostat for the T509 Triumph .. took plenty of detective work as they are obsolete from any Triumph seller. Stant make one that fits and correct temperature. Ordered through Rock Auto USA.

great find Mick, Ive found Rockauto.com is a great resource, Ive also managed to find parts for my 09 K1300GT BMW motorcycle on there, and general service parts for all other makes are nearly always in stock, and amazingly cheap.  I ordered a set of 6 coil packs and iridium spark plugs from them, around 450 aud delivered.  Stealer wanted 600 aud for the spark plugs alone.  Rockauto had the Bosch plugs at 7.65 aud each compared to mopar charging 95 per plug.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

I know some of you are tractor fans. 😳
This was in our import wash bay at work. Being fumigated etc.
I'm not sure if it's new made to look old or refurbished ?

It's a Fergie 165, I'd guess at a 4 cylinder Perkins.
(Mid 60's onwards I think)

The 3 in front of 165 and yellow paint just mean it was originally built and classed as industrial not agricultural.

Jeez, that yellow burns my eyes in the photo...can only imagine how bright it really is.

Someone has put some time, effort and $$$ into that, but it's not my bag. I'm a sucker for the little old red or grey Fergies, before the 135.
There's always room in the world for a bit more tolerance and kindness.

Nice Fergie. 45 bhp, 22 mph, mid 60s to mid 70s. When a kid my friends Father had one, red, brand new, we thought we were kings being allowed to drive it, the old grey sat in shed for a while.🚜

I like the BMW K1300's .. one day I might find one to add to the shed.

I bought this rectifier for the 1402, thought I'd give it a go. Original one is 23y.o, good to have a spare.

It's not the Tourmax one, but doesn't seem too bad quality wise.
