Today had a job on last year RangeRover.She put key thru washing machine. New key quote is $7000. Guess Hubby upset.Sort of makes 14 stuff cheap.

you know that you can get replacement keys from the UK lr parts suppliers? The local LR stealer can recode them for 200-300 $, don't understand why 7k. Surely a misunderstanding somewhere.

When I was working at the Port I bought a little Hilux 4x2 Workmate we had in stock. Only a 2.7 petrol / manual but brand new and I had a longer tray, tow bar and a few extras thrown it.

At the same time one of our drivers loaded a special edition Audi R8 onto one of the trucks the wrong way around. He dragged part of the carbon fibre undertray on the bitumen.

I was sat in the office doing the paperwork for my ute at the same time the bill for the new bit of carbon fibre to be purchased and fitted to the Audi came in.

My drive away price on the Hilux and the repair bill for the scrape on the Audi were almost identical prices.

Good to hear from you Tony. Hilux, ive had a few. Amazing utes. My 1983 3y motor, sold at 600 th ks, it then did another  100 b4 retiring.My 2.7 2006 did 200 th, nothing excet axle seal. Just retiring my 2016 2.4 diesel, had issues with DPF but all good lately, 184ks. Nearly 1 mill, might keep current going to achieve that with me driving. Guess im the Hooli of Hilux.

Thanks.  Just been giving the GSX a check over, must take it out soon.
Been trying to buy another bike, (sorry, not a 14), looked at a couple but haven't found the right one.  One had 12,000K's and wouldn't even run! Badly stored, needed new tank and fuel pump according to the seller! Another looked OK but was over 1000k's away.   Won't be to everyone's taste on here but I'll post up if I get one.

2014, the Gen-2 had been out a few years but 2013-onwards they added ABS and Brembo's...

TL came into work recently. Looks totally perfect in  pic, really does.  but totally neglected. Rust, corrosion, paint fade. Chain never seen lube.Bloke reckoned he looked after it. 😂I saw a chance, buy this strip it down,low ks,will come up beautiful.All cosmetic work.His answer to my offer, its perfect Mate, need 10g for this one.My 3g offer was its value.

Went to Blackbutt to fetch something and have breakfast. Used the car, but it's mostly dirt roads for me to get there anyway, but someone got to enjoy the beautiful weather.
