Went looking for fuel , none to be had at any of the stations in my area except for Wheatley services which was rammed solid , couldn't even squeeze my bike down the side although that would have been risking life and limb from the other drivers if they saw I was queue jumping. I am going to try later maybe after midnight when hopefully it'll be a bit quieter. :notworthy:

Painted the spare bedroom ceiling, went out and put some fuel in the car. Back home and gave the ceiling another coat.
Going to rain here tomorrow so guess I'll paint something...

Not today but Yesterday.
Started fitting VFR750 pannier rails to the K3,started the yellow K2 (no switches or clocks),did some wiring on a GS550 and washed the dishes.

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Used the bike for work past two days as no diesel for car and of course it bloody rained, now she's dirty and she needs a soapy wash to shine her up again, do that tomorrow morning as long as it's not raining again. Anybody recommend a good soapy de-greaser I could use??. Mucho gracias. :onya:

Today we had a hot Spring day. 37c/98f. Sure was warm putting my jacket on. A taste of Summer, i hope not.

Had a nice little bimble out on the bike this afternoon, only about 70 miles but mainly avoiding the A Roads - considering the rain we have had over the last few days today was mostly fine & bright and still quite mild, I did get caught in some light rain on the way home but it soon passed & dried up

I have to say the bike is running & handling really sweet at the moment & I am loving being able to get out, would never know that she has just turned 20, all cleaned up now and plugged back into the optimate ready for the next time

Finished painting, for now, so had a run out to RAF Coningsby to watch some fast jet. Saw several Typhoons but none of the promised Tornados from the Italian air force. Probably still trying to decide whose side they were on  :stir:

KiwiCol

Some new shoes for the girl arrived the other day, trying to decide whether to have a crack & fit them myself or take the wheels in & have them done?  Watched several videos on doing them, doesn't look too hard really.  What ya reckon?

😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Not at all difficult Col. Rubber hammer and soapy water.I used to but usuallt fitting/balancing is included in price these days. Still need balancing.

I fit all my own tyres and its not difficult.  When using the levers take very small bites and use an old leather belt to protect the rim.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick
