Staying the night at Ballandean.
Booked into a cottage.

Walk out the front door and......

I love Aussie wildlife.
After 15 years I still smile and stare like a tourist.

Only if you're fast

I'm nowhere near his speed, although there's a 5K Park Run here at 7am tomorrow. I normally do Park Runs on paved footpaths, this one is on grass and there's storms all around here.

Walk out the front door this morning and....

Drove up to the nearest town and found their Park Run. Small group but very friendly.

Congrats to you Tony, I retired 2 1/2 years ago and have not missed work or regretted my decision to leave.  It will be our 40th anniversary next year so we might buy another bike to celebrate.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

We went over to see our youngest grandson with a pressie today as he is two years old  :smitten:

Yesterday I went to get some front pads for my wife's 600 Bandit from my mate Steve - who happened to have a 14 at his shop which the owner wanted customising. I'm going to try and keep nipping over whilst he does this as last year he worked on an old 1100 Zephyr for the same customer and the end result was stunning. Will put some pics on to show the progress and give the forum details to Steve to pass on to the owner  :onya:

So, my Possum and Hen proof garden bed turned out to be people proof too! No one wanted to use it as the top was waaaay too heavy and much too hard to open. Try again with a Mk-2 lightweight version that's also a bit taller at the front.

I may have watched too many episodes of "The Good Life". That Felicity Kendal has a lot to answer for,

This tomato plant grew itself, just 3 sticks to prop it up my only input. never watered or anything. So far over 300 toms, still has quite a few weeks of life left. Amazing.

Went down to the park and pulled in next to this. Only live in a small town so don't think the bike is local. Looked well used with some touring mods like oil temp gauge, comfy seat, rear rack etc. Didn't get to chat to the owner as I was waiting for my coffee but he rode away with a pillion.
Always remember, safety third.
