Looks like Jorge will take this one too.  Wth dovi out the smart thing for marquez would be to just take second.

But it is Marc after all...

That was a masterclass from Jorge.

I'm sure Ducati KNOW they shouldn't have let Jorge go... now.
But at the time was understandable given Lorenzo's relatively poor form when the decision was made.

Shame for Dovi. He's made a couple of mistakes recently which have done him no good. Very unlucky lowside for sure, but seems he was on the brakes too much into the corner there.  He needs a few DNFs from Marquez (entirely possible) and non-podiums from Rossi, to get back into championship contention.

Amazing how high the attrition was in that race.   (Hmm, my bike is on fire, perhaps I should get off rather smartly.)
All the finishers ended up with championship points :)

What the hell happened to Iannone? He just kept dropping back from 5th as the race went on. And Rins was never in it at all. I'd like to see Suzuki doing better.

An excellent race from Jorge, Ducati should have supplied the new ergonomics 6 months ago when asked, could be a different championship now if they did.
Marquez showed good form giving up the chase and settling for the points, he will be hard to beat if he keeps the championship in mind.
Rossi also kept Yamaha relevant and with a couple of Yammie favourable tracks coming up could be headed for the top step.
The lower classes were pandemonium but some very tight racing and about only half the MotoGP field finished, it was quite an evenings racing.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

Yep that's a mystery to me.  I'm no GP bike designer / team manager BUT it comes to me intuitively (common sense) that, in such a physical sport, rider comfort is OBVIOUSLY important and should be catered to.

If they had, Jorge would have probably won more, and they'd have been motivated to keep him on their bike for 2019. Oh well, it's their own fault.
