As per my post in the Mugello one, it's confirmed Pedrosa will leave Honda at the end of 2018.
It's sad and he's an amazing racer with huge heart but recent results are just not up there.

The big shocker news is that there are whispers that Honda have signed ..... Jorje Lorenzo!!

Who saw that coming

The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

12 years on a Tier 1 MotoGP bike and even beaten by a Rookie on the same bike. The results do not justify the ride. Jorge is a good choice and it seems a fair speculation it will be him but I am surprised they're not filling the seat with new blood.
Just need Rossi to stop clinging on to past glory and give up his Tier 1 seat for some young blood.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

Lorenzo's signed a 2yr deal with Honda..
Started out with nothing, still got most of it left.

@Cykik
Where did you see that?
Be very interesting to see if he can win on his 3rd manufacturer.

Rossi clinging on... a wee bit unfair I feel. Look at what he brings to MotoGP and he's right up there. Why not say Lorenzo or Crutchlow or any others with less points this season, last season or ones before that?

I'm no Rossi nutter fan but come on... MotoGP will not be the same without him.

This will throw a rat in the cat cage.......I'd like to have seen Jack Miller on that Honda.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

He is where you would expect the Yamaha to be, in fact given his Pole position and fastest lap I would expect him two places further to the pointy end. Instead he relied on Marquez gifting him a podium by crashing out.
Lorenzo has now won a race this year and is coming to grips with the Ducati but too little too late, I was hoping he would be at this point at Valencia last year.
Crutchlow isn't on a Factory Bike.
Also I think a wee bit unfair would be suggesting "Marquez pull his head in", when he is leading the Championship by 23 points (I think).
MotoGP will be far better for the loss of the spiteful yellow canaries that follow Rossi. Rossi himself I am no fan of for varying reasons but I wish him no ill will, I just believe he is using a Top Tier bike to extend his use-by date.
