I go riding with a group of people on a FB motorcycle page.
I heard the other day that one of the ladies in it had died.
Most people assumed that she died in a motorcycle accident, but no.

This happened -

Family horror as father who wanted to reunite with his troubled son is killed alongside his wife in a double-murder suicide after the 24-year-old set fire to their family home

A drug-addict is believed to have brutally murdered his parents before setting fire to his house and killing himself, leaving his shattered sister without a family.

Police believe a domestic despite between Dylan Thomson, 24, his father Graeme and mother Ros ended in a double-murder-suicide in Everton Hills, north Brisbane.

The father, a State Emergency Service volunteer from the Whitsundays, suffered a serious head injury before the blaze took hold of the home, according to Nine News.

Graeme had recently returned to Brisbane to reconnect with his son, years after his marriage to Ros ended.

One of Dylan's devastated work colleagues at a local engineering speciality store told police he was battling a drug addiction, but had started to turn is life around.

His sister Shelly is said to be too distraught to speak. She posted a collage of her parents and brother on Facebook on Wednesday night.

'All sadly missed. Our family will stick together through these hard times,' Graeme's brother Mark commented.

Neighbours said they heard a loud explosion and could smell fuel as flames engulfed the two-story home at around 5.30am on Tuesday.

'I hear glass breaking so I went to the kitchen and check it,' one told The Brisbane Times.

'Then I hear a woman's voice saying ''help, help'' and then I look at the bigger window and I saw the smoke on the roof.'

Police Inspector Daniel Bragg said: 'It was a loud explosion, quite significant, and the neighbour that heard that explosion contacted the police.

'I'm told that the fire could be seen from a fair distance away and it was the flames and the smoke that actually led people to the address.'

Inspector Bragg said one neighbour had told police that there was 'some yelling' beforehand.

'Screams were heard for help, but exactly where those screams were coming from and who those screams were coming from is yet to be ascertained.'

Graeme's brother told the Courier-Mail: 'Graeme was there to make sure Dylan wasn't going to do a runner, as he was to face court on a charge of abusing police.

'Graeme was a good man and would do anything for his kids.' He said Dylan's sister 'has lost her whole family in one morning.'

Tributes have poured in for the SES volunteer.

'The Whitsunday SES family is shattered tonight we have lost a great mate,' a Facebook post reads.

'So hard to believe that his smile, his mad humour, and endless positive energy is no longer with us.

'He turned the Airlie Beach Group into a active, fully functional team that felt very much like a family. We are going to miss him on many levels. Rest in peace Graeme.'

It is not yet clear how the suspected murders and suicide were carried out.

Queensland Police declined to comment on the ongoing investigation when contacted by Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday night.

Thats very sad and disturbing at the same time i have a wayward son back in wales and some times you have to face the truth there's no helping them  and you just have to let them get on with it .
I feel very sorry there family must be very hard for them .

Of the immediate family only Shelly remains - and she has lost a father, mother and brother all in one hit.
