A previous "Hobby" of mine was Horse riding..
My biker mates laugh when I say its the most dangerous activity I have done !!
But I stand by that statement and Yes that includes biking!

I had 2 lessons a week for 6.5 years and got pretty good at Dressage / show jumping..
What makes horses potentially dangerous is that unlike a bike they have a mind of their own.
I tell my biker mates that even a 300hp bike will slow / stop if you pull the right lever..

With a horse it should listen to inputs..But if there is another Horse charging across the field nearby or a sudden blast of wind..Or the deadly crisp packet in the hedge, then they exercise their free will.
Its a unique sort of fear when one asks for slow / stop and the Horse decides its off on a charge.. And not just a charge but with potential Bucking etc..
Some are just nasty bastards..
My 2nd one was a delight.. I would liken him to a Giant Labrador Dog !
He was so highly schooled he was almost thought controlled with inputs from me.. Definitely NOT for a beginner !!

Here is our semi wild mousetrap Nyyti. He was born 17 and half years ago in the attic of our house from wild parents.
Parents and his sister or broher left and he stayed.
Veterinary asked me: who owns this cat? I answered to her: I don't know, I'm only his server.

As a young motorcyclist I had 2 goes on a horse, fell off both times.......... bastard thing. (its owner was most attractive tho.)
Too dangerous for me. Give me a bike any day.

I guess you have to trust the rider for something like this and you could call it getting up close and personal haha

I'll post up a copy o fit in here when I manage to get time to do the editing. From memory I managed to get most of the bike and rider in the shot as I was using a fairly wide angle lens (12-24mm, possibly right at the wide end)
