Tripod, set to manual focus and turn off image stabilisation - they can do weird things at random - no idea why.  Then you'll get a much better 'good photo' result than 1 / 100

Nice shot.  I tried to grab a photo of a Kingfisher once, boy they are fast. I gave up. lol..

I did get a Wasp on a cake though.  It wasn't going anywhere fast.

great shot of the wasp, i do have some kingfisher shots but their at home and i am i iraq for the rest of the month, not much to photograph here and the camera would be taken off me in the airport.
