Opinion
That first pic, as they're all standing idle, some more foreground / dock showing empty berths alongside with a bit of sea would convey the waiting / downtime in a more 'complete' way.  It's not a critizime, just an opinion.

Being art, pics are always subjective (see that?) & what appeals to one may not appeal to another.  Main thing is if you like them yourself, if others do, great, if they don't, well that's ok too, you took the pic for yourself.

Nice to see you appreciate the industrial / grungy as well Froudy - a "photographer's" picture rather than the usual picture taken by a tourist.

1] Here's one of a rig in Cromarty Firth: I really liked all the colour in this industrial structure.
2] At the same location were two rusting hulks. There are I am sure prettier boats to take pictures of but you can't beat a bit of entropy.
3] Same day and a few miles along the coast a completely different subject - we spent an hour watching dolphins play in the turning tide. This is what makes me wish I was a better photographer, with practice there could be brilliant shots for the taking but this is the best I could do in the fading light and the fact the beggars pop up without any warning.

This was using my phone camera flying into Geneva Airport back in March this year.
You can see the mountains rising through the cloud in the first shot.

Cracking bird Froudy!    Here's some more  'wildlife'.   It's actually a field in Cumbria... not the Serengeti 😎
Taken with a long exposure in very low light at dusk.  I'm always wary about showing this cos it was a lucky pic.  No photoshop.... I swear!
