Im getting a bit of a slap noise when on un-even ground.

The bike came fitted with the hugger but looking at photos of several different make replacements is a different fitting to mine. Before I buy another one, I would like to confirm that mine is the wrong/make do one.

There is a bracket that goes around the rectangular cross member of the swing arm, where the hugger bolts on - I can't see that bracket in your photo's at all, so suggest you are missing that bracket.

Also the Pyramid hugger "rests" on the chain guard, often the small piece of rubber comes off the hugger itself, so the fibreglass of the hugger hits the chainguard. I superglued a bit of inner tube on my one and it was fine after that
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Thanks Shane, I look forward to your photos.

Thanks Barmy, There is no bracket and no rubber where hugger meets the chain guard.

In which case I'd recommend taking the hugger off until you get the bracket (Pyramid can supply one if you call them), as it sounds like your hugger is only holding on by the bolt on the RH side of the swing arm (where the rear brake hose loops through). In which case it could break and come away at any time with unknown consequences (like jamming your rear wheel possibly). The bracket that goes around the centre of the swing arm is quite substantial and the main bolting point for the hugger

Mine is the same as the one in the pic which is very different to the one on your bike , i would say yours if for another model of bike maybe a bandit and been made to fit . ( i did try to post pics but its not having it today !! )

They look great - You could sell a few of those I reckon !
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Agree Notty, Lawrie makes superb stuff.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Lawrie I reckon they are the best huggers I have seen for our bikes.
You are a talented guy!
