For anyone thinking of touring New Zealand.....tyre choice is important !!

This weekends effort, State Highway 1, Kaitaia up in Northland.

As you can see No Double Yellow Lines......overtaking is allowed so long as you don't exceed 100kph.

The alternative route is along 90 Mile Beach.
