Doctors Visit

A man goes in to see his doctor.
'So, Mr Froud, what seems to be the problem?' Asks the doctor.
'Well, It's my hip, knee and ankle, they keep talking to me.' Mr Froud says.
'Mr Froud, I doubt that is true' responds the doctor 'but could you show me?'
'Easily Doctor, simply place your stethoscope on my hip, and listen...'

So the doctor places his stethoscope on the man's hip, and as the man raises and lowers his leg the doctor hears 'lend me twenty pounds, lend me twenty pounds' from the hip.
Puzzled, the doctor moves his stethoscope to the knee joint, and, clear as day 'lend me ten pounds, lend me ten pounds' can be heard.
With an inkling of the problem he moves on to the ankle, and as the ankle is moved 'I need five pounds, I need five pounds....'

'Ah, sir, I know what is going on here' states the doctor, 'Your leg is broke.'
