Anyone remember how much a brand new 14 cost back in the day?  I know they'd have gone up with the K2 - K7, but be interested in comparing the original price with what a good one goes for today.

Thinking the price to buy one has probably increased over the years.

On one of the best known bike-sale sites in Germany. 51 14s to have in the range 3000-7150 € with a good selection (about 1/3) in the 4500-5500 € range. Asking prices of cause. My feel is that prices have gone up a little. The price topper of 21k+ €  with a side car not included.

Why so much new (taxes)?

My K7 Black from Springwood Suzuki rode away brand new $12,000 in March 2007

Snapey

$14225 from Action Suzuki on the 19th December 2001 and that was the best price in Sydney because the B/W's were hard to get.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

@ andre
Yes, taxes!! Everything is expensive here in North pole.
I found that price 15490€ from catalogue number 1/05 of Bike magazine.
And my K2 was the cheapest 14 in country in 2013, only I was able to buy.

KiwiCol

Thanks for the input guys, looks like Aussie & NZ have a way to go yet to be up with the original price.  North Pole area, never gonna happen! Over 15 thousand euro!

They'll go up a fair bit eventually, especially ORIGINAL ones (unmodified)

In 155 years time we'll think back "oh bugger I used to have one off those, should never have sold it".

Well some of you will. I'm not selling mine (even if it isn't original) :D.
