The problem is, of course, that if you open the garage door - the elephants escape.
And recapturing flying elephants is no easy task.

I've actually seen the same elephants among other daft things while I've been taking tramadol.   Lol

They can do a lot of damage... keep that door shut.

I have never experienced this level of 'high' (not for lack of trying) i have always had zero effect right until the pass out stage.. Its quite upsetting.. I am currently on high doses of pain meds apparently enough to knock out your average joe and i am still going to work normally.. The only way i know i am overdosing on the meds i when i wake up lol.
So if i do stuff all all day and noone sees me do it.. Am i still a lazy git?

Andre

Sorry to hear you are needing strong pain meds.

I never had much luck with pain meds which have "recreational" side effects. Only made me drowsy but barely touched the pain. On the other side, the feeling smoked grass gave me was great. That too was different than what others experience with it. Instead of getting drowsy and sleepy, it made me wound up, AND increased my pain. Go figure. I just learned to deal with the pain other than popping a pill or smoking.

This thread got a bit less jovial eh...

Mate of mine has to have regular ketamine injections into his spine for pain.
He's not a fan, of the injections OR the pain.

Still that's what happens when a big arse semi trailer runs over you eh.

Motorbike + shitty road repair = fall.
Fall + Truck = OUCH.

It could be said that your mate was lucky while being unlucky. Wonder if he feels that way.

I understand that he is no fan of these injections. I was scheduled to have 10 injections (not ketamine) into a back joint. After 4 sessions I couldn't stomach any more.

Actually I had an injection there before a few years earlier. That experience was something. I experienced it "visually" as a ball of fire. The doc didn't want to give me the injection but he did when I told him I was in dire need to be doped fit for the visit of my wonderful daughter I hadn't seen in years. Being separated from her is another type of pain, the worst pain in my life.

I wont bore you with my issues sufice to say that i have a skelatal disease that will see me in a wheelchair eventually.. The pain is undescribable and the injections, pills and forthcoming surgeries will mean that i get to ride my bikes for a few years to come which makes it all worth it in my eyes...

Due to the type of disease it is, my spine is never more comfortable that when i am sat on a bike leant slightly forward... happy days.. When its time for me to go i think it will be on my bike over a cliff lmfao.. :smitten:  :cruisin:
