It's a bit late now really as the date has passed...BUT

I picked up this nice 4.5 Litre bottle of Jim Beam from Morrisons..Should keep me quiet for a while

Even comes with it's own tilting stand because it's so heavy

I never realised they did them this big either. Last year Jack Daniels were doing a "Big" 3 Litre bottle for £50..I never even got close to getting my hands on one.

I saw this Beam 4.5 Litre mentioned on Facebook. My son was going down to Morrisons on the Thursday morning, so I asked him if he could see if they had any in stock. He called me and said that they had 8 left and how many did I want

To be honest I drink Jim Beam rather than JD now as JD has got to be so expensive..About £35 per litre at full price. Asda have been selling 1 Litre bottles of Jim Beam for £17 for ages now and it tastes just as good.

On that note I once went into a town centre chemist (Booths) for some methylated spirit as I use this to make varnish at work..
There was quite a queue behind me.
When it was my turn to be served I asked the old dear on the till if I could have a straw..
She snatched the meths and hid it behind the counter and said, "I am not serving the likes of you"!
I said "If I was an alky I would hardly be asking for a straw"..
She refused to serve me and the large queue was laughing and cheering..
I had to seek out another chemist !!

I wouldnt mind but I dont even look like an alky !!
