Hi doe's any one know what that use in car wash places that they spray on your car after washing it then wipe over with a cloth to leave a streak free shine

Blubber

The better garages around here do a final washing rinse with RO water. It has very little minerals in left so leaves a minimum of water stains.

That way it doesn't need a spray afterwards  ;)

Shocked you didnt give Meguires 'wash and wax' a shout here Dave!!!
I've just had a new car so went out and purchased a Meguires Pack and have to say its fantastic stuff.
I've done an intial proper wax and now each susequent wash I just use the wash and wax, rinse, leather and it come up lovely no streaks.

Meg's Wash and Wax is great stuff Nigel, no denying it, but I do like Aqua Wax in the way it applies and buffs off. Plus the question loadshifter asked was what garages use and they use Aqua Wax not Megs - as the result is as good and it's a bit cheaper.

Incidentally for washing your new car try the Megs Royale Car Shampoo applied with a lambs wool mitt. Lovely suds and does a cracking job. Not cheap but then you don't need a lot in a bucket of water.

Thanks Dave,
Have to ad mit I did try a mitt on the other day but I'd already burnt over £70 in halfords so put it on the wish list :)
They stock Autoglym stuff in our local Boyes so I'll have a look at the prices.

I used the Megs Gold class wax on the car and just wow! it even smells great

Cheers
