Hi All,

Due to my recent post on here about LED DRL's, I got side tracked (as you do) on eBay and noticed the "Motorcycle H4 LED replacement bulbs..

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6000LM-H4-9003-Hi-Lo-LED-Motorcycle-Headlight-Bulb-Moto-Bike-Lamp-White-6000K/152542342830?hash=item23843b6eae:g:e~0AAOSwhvFZEXk7

Has anyone had any actual experience of these?
Are they actually better than the Halogen H4 or is it just another modern Fad ?

Try these Simon, as you will see in the thread Holli fitted one to his 14, I have them on my Explorer, work really well and no5 a stupid price either - and plug and play as well!

Fitting keewors V18 cree "bulb" this weekend as recommended earlier in this post. Was gonna replace the whole 7" headlight assy but had concerns regarding space & heat dissipation from rear of the unit.
Started out with nothing, still got most of it left.

Hi Simon - My only doubt on these  is will the brightness mask the indicators? hence the led's you have bought may be better?   :smile2:
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Question for Hooli then as he has standard indicators with these bulbs fitted. @Hooli ?

To be honest personally I don't think they will they certainly don't on the Triumph Explorers with either normal or LED indicators (which are pretty much in the same place as on a 14)  and 5ge Tex's have twin headlights as well. But be interesting to get Hooli's views

Hooli

I doubt they'd hide standard indicators as the are quite well separated & I could always see them fine on another 14 I knew with a HID in. I've got stupid little aftermarket indicators that can hardly be seen at any time, so the LED headlight makes little difference to no one seeing them.
