Hi All..

Just got back from a ride out and was giving her a wash down (wet roads in places)..
I remember reading a while back that the consensus was that on the GSX Fork Braces were an un needed add on for this bike..

Soooo I thought its only 4.45pm so I will whip off the braces and go for a spin...

The first thing I would comment on is that the front suspension seems more "fluid" and responds better to road irregularities. If I glance down the fork leg I can actually see the forks are more active.
My inclination is to leave them off..
As with computers "less is more" sometimes...

If anyone wants a nice set of alloy braces then look for my post with pictures in the "for sale" section...

good info mate. i thought they were just bling, didnt affect anything. obviously not. never had a need or want for one, just look nice.

Could be that the CNC work was slightly off.

Lots of aftermarket stuff is shite for lots of reasons. Keeps the money flowing from one pocket into the other.

Always thought they were Bling..

With that unit, unlikely Andre, had one myself, was a precision bit of kit, better than some of the other bolt together types which are on the market. If it was off in any way it would not have fitted.

More likely a difference in fork oil level and/or fork oil needed changing.

But yes, on the 14, fork braces are pure bling, no help or hindrance on handling
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement
