All bloody useless if you get a flat Grog although the tyre pressure gauge will tell you how much air you haven't got. I'll bet you've got a repair kit lurking somewhere in there.

I seem to carry shit for others who break down or crash. Things like race & electrical tape, Knead-it, cable ties, tie & electrical wire, multi meter, heavy string, tow rope & a few better tools than what's in the 1400 kit. For my use there's the puncture kit, compressor, pressure gauge, wet gear, jelly beans (I'm fucked without them), FI fault code instructions & paper clip, owners manual & spare clutch & brake levers.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

I only carry wet weather gear, and just make sure i ride with Snapey  :stir: :whistling:

Snapey, yeah have tape, zip ties, fuses etc. forgot. puncture stuff is just a small plug kit. carried co2 forever, never used them, not there now. mightve jogged my memory. manual etc, use my phone if needed. waiting to see what others have, should be some great ideas. yours helped. thankyou.

Irish in Oz

You will only need the wet weather and cold stuff if you travel south into NSW

Only important thing I carry under the seat is a stack of papers which are mandatory to carry on the bike for most every part that is not original to the bike. And a warn vest as it is also mandatory where I ride.

The other important thing is in my wallet - the membership card of the road club. A call, and I and the bike get picked up and brought home where I can fix it in the comfort of my garage.

I do carry the standard repair kit to keep its fastener from banging around. Should replace it with something potentially useful like toilet paper  :salute:

Hooli

Let me think...

Original tool kit with a few extra allen keys slipped in.
1/4" socket set
tyre weld
puncture bung kit
rag to wipe my hands
spare bulb kit
co2 things to inflate tyre
set of maps for the whole UK
spare levers

You might be able to guess this built up for touring & never gets taken out.

In my underseat handbag I have much the same as the rest of you. Though I have no puncture repair kit. Odd one is glucose because as a diabetic I could be fukt without it.
Snapey....jeĺlybeans?
As an aside both my wife and I carry a whistle in our jacket pocket.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

A useful thing to carry under your seat is a sachet of sugar, the sort of thing you get in cafe's. Then if you do break down and get muddy hands, take the sugar, and after getting plenty of soap on your hands add the sugar - the sugar works great (like pumice) to get all the dirty grease etc out of your hands and dissolves as you wash it away with the soap, leaving you with nice clean hands. Simple and small to carry as well  :onya:
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

I feel under equipped, I only carry the standard tools kit, a disk lock and a bottle of coke.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

My weapon of choice, instead of sugar, are these: http://www.dynamicaqua.com/gloves_files/blackglove.jpg

Does not take much room even if you have few pairs under the seat and you always have clean hands. I use the same when working with the bike at home, missus likes clean hands.  :hat:

Just make sure that the ones you buy can resist oil, different chemicals etc.
Cruising with my R/B K5 since 2012

Ha - well the Tex doesn't have that much room, so apart from a sachet if sugar I have my compressor, disklok, standard tool kit, Puncture kit, some spare fuses a couple of cable ties, black tape and a microfibre cloth. And that just about fills it up!

Your more equiped than me mate..

I used to carry a puncture repair kit until i got a puncture that wasnt repairable by anything!! Now i just carry a fully charged phone and breakdown cover.
As for the rockets 111's under seat.. I think i can fit a set of 6 first class stamps... I think 12 might be pushing it.
So if i do stuff all all day and noone sees me do it.. Am i still a lazy git?
