K8 was unique to Australasia (never sold in Europe) so you may have to call Suzuki Aus for that info. In the UK, sometimes dealers wrote paint codes for the machine in the front of the service book may be worth checking that

whilst we are on paint related things!!
I didnt realise that you can get High temp top coat! so will have a play with that over the winter to see how it looks on a couple of bits.
It will turn the matt finish of pipes etc into a glossier look  :onya:

Better have a quiet word with Mrs Red then and tell her you'll need to put your 14 in her oven for 20 mins - following from the auction words....
"VHT Caliper Paint only attains its unique properties after correct curing.
Bake at 200°F (93°C) for 20 minutes
"

Or just wait until she is out one night with the girls  :whistling:

I use the over to cure paint as it hardens it up a treat (especially Brake calipers) - about 2 hours at 60 degrees or until Mrs Del comes in

Ive been caught out by her on a few occasions to the point she doesn't bother any more - just get a  'HOY wanna clear the bike parts out of my oven' so I can make dinner' shes a good lass

Hi @Ultra mag

the white is Pearl Glass white or Glass Splash White - colour code YC3

the blue is Pearl Deep Blue - colour Code - YBA

Im not a 100% on these but if you go to your local paint supplier they may gave a swatch you can look at

In the past I have taken a panel to the paint store and they can scan it to get me a paint as close as they can get - I prefer this as bike paint is horrendous money compared to car paint

the pearl metallic on the early ZX9r Kawasaki's is as near as dammed a match to the BMW car pearl white

Cool thanks guys!!

The previous owner power coated the rims.
Probably mixed the two paint schemes together while he was there
Just the front guard and side cowlings from the FE.

I read more detail on another site Dave and a 30 minute run out will cure the pipes 👍 Although would mean spraying with them still on!

Mrs Red doesn't know where the oven is, I'm a 'modern man' she once did spag Bol and put the Bol on the plate first 😳 Fortunately she has other qualities 👙
